    I Love Books!!!

This morning I went to class and discovered that the book sale was going on. So, throwing caution to the wind, I plunged it!!! At first, I found nothing, but then...

I found a copy of Lord Peter by Dorothy L. Sayers. The dust jacket is a little worn, but the binding has never been broken!!! Now I am at a quandary, do I break the binding or do I peek into the pages and leave the binding intact? (It is an illogical quandary, but a quandary nonetheless.)

I also found a history about World War II by Winston Churchill and a book about World War I (not so sure about this one, though.) All told, I spent less than two dollars! I love book sales!

The most interesting part of the sale was the elderly ladies who had to review my choices and see if I passed muster. I believe they were quite pleased with my choices.  They tried to recruit me to join their society, I didn’t know how to tell them, but I’m pretty sure you need to be over 65 to be a member…
